December 18, 2004 Diann, Just wanted to send a short note to wish you a Merry Christmas! Hope you have some time to spend with your family over the holidays. It is said, "When the student is ready the Mentor will appear" I was ready. The SIGNAL had been there for sometime: "Your business and life is in need of a change." Diann Cannon and I had been attending a "Leads" Breakfast for sometime. We said "hello", listened to the information then said goodbye. I never thought I would need her expertise. Then Diann called about me about being in her demonstration about Coaching. She explained that since the phone was her office, the attendees would be able to see the process if there was a willing participant. I said yes At the Meeting ... or her demonstration she asked me if there was a problem in my business. I replied "Yes, the entrepreuneur side of me was in direct conflict with the Retentive Bookkeeper side". She then asked me to explain. I said "I cannot get anything accomplished. It is like pushing molasses up hill in the snow." I wanted to be free to expand my business through creative means but the everyday working side of the business was overwhelming me". A few more questions were asked and then we finished the demonstration. The SIGNAL was clear. This was the perfect venue for me. That day, I made an appointment to call her and I was on my way. The phone is the perfect meeting place. Diann's coaching technique is objective and after a few questioners the programs are designed for you, the individual. Not only did Diann help me sort through some complicated business problems, she helped the total me, sort through things that were interfering with my path to success.
